Things for the Little Things - Try it Tuesdays

Decimal points and quarters aren't the only little things we've been losing lately; Calvin's lost his ability to to make a proper "th" sound which resulted in me making a little tooth pillow to help him with recovering lost lunch quarters:

Speaking of little things, I have a little dilemma: I've noticed a very faint shadow of a mustache appearing above Calvin's lips...

Should I do something about it. To see if he's noticed it or if other children at school have pointed it out, I said, "Hey Calvin. I think you might have a mustache!" [insert big concern-free smile]. To which he replied after licking his lips, "Is it gone now?" Maybe he though I meant a milk mustache... So anyway, the dilemma remains - to "undorkify or not"...

Try it Tuesdays - "Tie" Easy

So as mentioned yesterday Flagyl For Sale, , today's post is a simple tutorial on making a little boy's tie (ages 2-4 years). There are a handful of tutorials out there (i.e, Flagyl forum. I made up my own process using this pattern (You can also follow the instructions printed on the pattern, Flagyl For Sale. Very easy. You will need:

1 yard patterned fabric, cotton or cotton blend

1 yard lining fabric, cotton or cotton blend

1" wide fusible (hemming) tape

iron, sewing machine, thread, etc.

I found that the fusible tape gave the end product enough heft, much like what you would have if you used interfacing.

Seriously. Easy, fast, and fuss free. Just the kind of sewing I like to do :)

Here's how I did it:

2. With the wrong/inner side facing up...

5. Crease and pin in place.

7. With a pencil (or something washable), lightly draw a line half-inch from each side edge, Tramadol No Rx. Taking Tramadol,

8. Using the line you just drew as the starting point, draw 4 more lines; The first three should be 4 inches apart, and the fourth line should be 3 inches from the previous line, Tramadol australia, uk, us, usa. (Obviously, you can adjust the size of these pockets to your own needs.)

9. Buy Tramadol no prescription, Cut a 4-inch piece of 1/4" elastic and loop it like so:

11. Straight stitch down the 1/2" line, securing the elastic as you go, get Tramadol. I stitched the line twice to make it more secure by lifting the presser foot at the end and turning the mat 180.

13. This is what it should look like:

14. Now fold the whole thing in half, length-wise:

15, buy Tramadol without a prescription. And you are pretty much done, say for a large button of some kind:

That's it. Purchase Tramadol, The bottom is "open" on purpose to accommodate bulky items that will naturally push the sides out. You could sew the bottom shut, but I found that made the pockets a bit too tight for ease of putting and pulling out your items.

Kinda nifty :) And since they contain your most important items, switching bags is a breeze; Just take it out and plop it in the new bag. Not more forgotten wallets or checkbooks.

Jeremy and I got a chance to tour Calvin and Charissa's classroom the other night to see the various works they are doing. I love perusing Montessori classrooms; Always full of learning activities that are easily put together using everyday items, fast shipping Armour. Australia, uk, us, usa,

6. Cut two rectangles that are equal in width to your item and roughly two inches longer, Armour Mg. Lay your item right side facing up on one of the rectangles (also right side facing up if you're using a printed fabric for the pillow.)

7. Layer the other rectangle on top (right side down) to create a "sandwich".

8. Behold your sandwich. Pin the layers together.

9. Armour Mg, Sew all the way around, leaving a three-inch opening for turning.

10. Turn your pillow right side out, stuff with polyfil, and handsew the opening shut.

Ta da.

Calvin and Charissa enjoy fidgeting with these. A nice little quiet activity :).

Zoloft Dosage, Try it. Tuesdays - "The Notebook" (Doodle Pillow)

My kids have been really into drawing these days. Buy generic Zoloft, So much so that they've set up their own little art gallery:

The first thing they said to me after opening their gallery (which, of all 12 rooms of the house, they chose the living/formal/piano room) was: "Don't take them down okay Mommy?, after Zoloft. Just leave them there!"

Despite being in a not-so-ideal location, Is Zoloft addictive, their drawings are pretty darn cute (I am biased, of course) and always make me smile. So I decided to take their art a step further and create throw pillow covers from them, Zoloft images, hence, Zoloft brand name, this week's project:

A simple "envelope" style cover for a 16" pillow. This would make a cute Valentine's Day project for a grandparent, Zoloft Dosage.

Materials:

- blue-ish and red-ish thread for the "notebook paper" look
- white fabric (a 16.5" x 16.5" square, a 16.5" by 11.5" rectangle, Zoloft wiki, and a 16.5" by 8.5" rectangle)
- embroidery thread and needle in your choice of color(s). Zoloft street price, Optional. I did not use these.
- your child's drawing

Instructions:

With the square (front) piece of fabric, Zoloft maximum dosage, use a pencil and draw a horizontal line across the width of the pillow, Where can i buy Zoloft online, 3/4" from the bottom edge.

From this bottom line, draw 21 more lines across the width of the pillow so that they are 1/2" apart.

Draw a line perpendicular to all the lines you just drew, 3.75" from the edge (this is your left margin rule), Zoloft australia, uk, us, usa.
Zoloft Dosage, With your blue-ish thread, stitch across all 21 lines. I set my stitch length to 5 (the longest stitch); With your red-ish thread, Zoloft duration, stitch down the left margin line.

Ta da. You've now completed your very own notebook fabric.

There are many ways to "transfer" you child's drawing onto the pillow, Zoloft from canada. You can embroider it on, Zoloft coupon, draw it on, or machine-stitch it on, which is what I did (since I don't own any embroidery needles or thread), Zoloft photos. This part is up to you, Zoloft Dosage. But here is how I did mine:

Position the original drawing under your notebook fabric and trace with a pencil.

Set your machine stitching to reinforcement stitching (2 or 3 stitches at a time).

Stitch along the traced image, Australia, uk, us, usa, lifting up the foot and pivoting to get around curves.

With the front completed, all that's left to do is putting together the pieces:

Take the two rectangular pieces of fabric and, for each, serge/zig-zag down one of the long sides (16.25" side). Turn the serged side over 1/4" and stitch down, creating a hem.

With right-sides facing one another, place the larger of the two rectangles on top of your front piece, lining the raw edges together. Pin in place.

Place the smaller of the two rectangles on top of your front piece (and overlapping the other rectangle), lining the raw edges together. Pin in place.

Straight-stitch down the perimeter of the square, 1/4" from the edge and serge/zig-zag all the way around.

Now turn your cover right-side out, stuff your pillow inside and...

Yay. A cute little pillow featuring the world's best art ;).

Never Grow Up

33 Dresses

That's how many of these I've made to date:

Sewing dresses is fun, Australia, uk, us, usa, but I would go a little nutty if that's all I ever did. So this weekend, I finally tackled some personal projects that have been sitting in my queue for 6 months, Armour maximum dosage. Like this layer of coordinating fabric:

And a new stroller seat to replace the original hot-pink-zebra-inspired-purse-and-lipstick-patterned one that ripped after one too many rides with a 30 pound "baby". Along with the handful of scheduled (academic) activities Calvin and Charissa do each day (tracked with the awesome sticker chart), I've been helping them memorize Bible verses, Diflucan overnight.
